Legal Notice

Last updated: 17 October 2026 Version: 1.0

This Legal Notice sets out the information that Article 10 of Spanish Act 34/2002, on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE), requires to be made available to anyone accessing this site, together with the general conditions of access and use.

It is a separate document from the other two and does not replace them: how we process your personal data is in the Privacy Policy, and the service contract is in the Terms and Conditions.

1. Details of the site owner

Hereinafter, "the owner" or "Genki".

2. Purpose

This website is the way in to Genki, a conversational assistant built on artificial intelligence models that connects to the user's Google and Microsoft work accounts, and to a business's WhatsApp Business account, and operates on them at their request: it searches and drafts email, consults and manages the calendar, works on files and contacts, sends messages from the business's number, indexes the documents the user chooses, and runs the automations they set up — which can also react on their own to what happens in those accounts: a new email, a change in the calendar, or a message sent to the business's number.

Access to the site is free and open. Using the service requires creating an account, accepting the Terms and Conditions and contracting a plan, on the conditions set out there.

3. Conditions of access and use

Accessing this site confers the status of user and implies acceptance of this Legal Notice from the moment of access.

The user undertakes to:

  • Use the site lawfully and diligently, in accordance with the law, good faith and this Legal Notice.
  • Not to introduce or spread content that is unlawful, defamatory or discriminatory, or that infringes third-party rights.
  • Not to take actions that damage, overload or disrupt the normal operation of the site or the systems supporting it, nor attempt to reach restricted areas, other users' data or the source code.
  • Not to use the site to send unsolicited commercial communications or for impersonation.

The conditions of use of the service itself — what the assistant can do, what control the user has over its actions and how responsibility is allocated — are in the Terms and Conditions, which prevail over this Notice in everything concerning the contractual relationship.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

All intellectual and industrial property rights in this site and in the Genki platform — the code, the design, the navigation structure, the texts, the images, the brand, the trade name and the logos — belong to the owner or its licensors.

Their reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other form of exploitation without express written authorisation is prohibited. Access to the site confers no rights over them on the user.

Third-party trade marks, trade names and logos that may appear — Google, Microsoft and others — belong to their respective owners and are shown solely to identify the services Genki integrates with.

Content the user contributes to the service remains theirs, on the terms of section 12 of the Terms and Conditions.

5. Liability

The owner provides the service with the professional diligence required, subject to the limits and exclusions set out in section 18 of the Terms and Conditions. In particular:

  • Genki is an artificial intelligence system and can get things wrong. Its answers are generated automatically and do not constitute professional advice of any kind. This is stated expressly, in accordance with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.
  • Uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed, of the site or of the service. Both depend on external providers — hosting, the language model provider, Google, Microsoft and the tools the user connects — whose unavailability is outside the owner's control.
  • The owner is not liable for the use the user makes of the service, for the instructions given to the assistant, or for the outcome of actions the user authorises or automates.

6. Links

This site may contain links to third-party sites, including those of Google and Microsoft for authorising the user's accounts. The owner does not control those sites and is not answerable for their content or their policies.

The external tools (MCP) that the user connects to the assistant deserve a mention of their own: the user chooses, connects and authorises them, and they are neither operated nor audited by the owner. The exact allocation of responsibilities is in section 9 of the Terms and Conditions.

Setting up links to this site does not require prior authorisation, provided they do not suggest a relationship that does not exist, do not reproduce the site inside a frame, and are not accompanied by false statements or statements harmful to the owner.

7. Data protection and cookies

The processing of users' personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which sets out the purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention periods and how to exercise the rights recognised by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and by Spanish Organic Act 3/2018.

Section 14 of that Policy contains the full inventory of cookies and browser storage. Genki installs no third-party cookies, includes no analytics or advertising tools and loads no external resources in the application. The decision on categories can be changed or withdrawn at any time from Settings, under Privacy, in the application.

8. Commercial communications

The owner does not send unsolicited commercial communications. The emails the service sends are strictly those needed for it to work: the sign-up verification code, notices concerning the account, the subscription and billing, and notifications of material changes to the legal documents.

9. Partial invalidity

If any provision of this Legal Notice is held void or unenforceable, the rest will remain valid and will be interpreted as closely as possible to the purpose of the affected provision.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law.

For any dispute arising from access to or use of this site, and without prejudice to the forum available to a user who is a consumer, the parties submit to the courts of Salamanca.

The complaints and dispute resolution regime applicable to the contractual relationship is in section 21 of the Terms and Conditions.
